THE PROS
The Greatest Showchoir is the first choir of it's kind to offer vocal training to an advanced level and to offer a platform to further your confidence, ear, musical and technical skills in it's weekly 2hr sessions.
The Greatest Showchoir is deliberately priced low so that it can offer an opportunity for singers who wish to train but for various reasons may be priced out of private tuition range.
The Greatest Showchoir is not age specific. You need to want to learn, prepared to commit and pass the audition. No other requirements are necessary.
The Greatest Showchoir will give you solid vocal training and help you understand your voice and it's capabilities through experienced and dynamic teaching.
Through an exciting range of repertoire from the musical theatre genre, we will explore the vocal techniques of different singing styles through harmonies, improvisation, teamwork and the formation of an interesting repertoire to perform to audiences and compete in competitions.
Kent Voice Studio is looking for 15 singers in the first instance (not necessarily SATB) to work closely with to develop a dynamic choir from the musical theatre repertoire from Gilbert and Sullivan to Hamilton, We will Rock you and everything inbetween!
The aim of The Greatest Showchoir is to get out there and perform while learning
It's learning to sing through singing. All the skills wrapped up in one!
THE CONS
We can't do anything if half the choir aren't there. Therefore commitment is key.
We will expect people to do most of the learning at home and to come to classes prepared
A minimum of two terms commitment is necessary in the first instance and then a terms notice if you wish to leave
Payment needs to be termly in advance
